We do not charge a service fee. We provide free estimates and most diagnostic services are free as well. If the technician believes that the diagnosis is complicated we will alert you to any possible charges before completing the work. Should a diagnostic fee be warranted it will be applied to any work performed should you approve our work estimate for the repair.
A water heater is essential for your home and no one wants to wake up to no hot water. The most noticeable sign that it is time to replace your water heater is a lack of hot water. If you are running out of hot water before your shower is over it may be time to give us a call. Some additional signs it may be time to replace your water heater are advanced age, rusty hot water, a sulfur smell coming from your water, or leaks around the base of your water heater.
The short answer is No. Over the counter drain cleaners are harmful to your plumbing system, even the ones that say safe for pipes and septic. These products can cause pipes to corrode prematurely causing more extensive damage. A licensed plumber can quickly and safely dislodge most clogs, avoiding unnecessary repairs.
State of Maryland building code states that any level below grade must have at least one operating sump pump. Additionally, a sump pump can save your valuable belongings from unwanted water damage. A sump pump works by removing groundwater that seeps in under your foundation and discharges it away from the home.
